By gathering information on a patient’s medical history and current condition, we can customize the treatment to meet their needs.
Along with providing patients the customized treatment they need, we also help patients receive treatment in a comfortable and calm setting. This way, patients can relax when receiving dental treatment. Along with providing preventive dentistry, we can also remove fillings containing mercury and replacing them.
Welcome to the biological dental practice of Dr. Shannon McCarthy! From the moment you step through our front door, we hope that you realize how different we are from the typical office environment you’re used to. Our Williamsville team prioritizes personalized, total-body dental care with each of our patients, and we take pride in maintaining a casual, laid-back environment that helps you feel perfectly at ease throughout your treatment. If you’ve already scheduled your first appointment, keep reading to learn more about what you need to know before you arrive:
You’ll be greeted by name at the door, and after a brief wait time, you will be escorted to your treatment room where an assistant will seat you, gather your medical and dental history and take digital xrays. You’ll then be introduced to Dr. McCarthy, who will come in and review your health history, perform an exam, and consult the digital images that were taken. She’ll ask you about what you’re hoping to get from your dental care, and with this input, she’ll put together your personalized plan to optimize your oral health.
We are happy to estimate fees and insurance reimbursement before beginning your recommended treatments, and we will gladly file insurance forms for you and complete your insurance paperwork. Optimal, comprehensive dentistry is what we practice, and we do not base our treatment recommendations on what your insurance will or will not pay. As an out-of-network provider, our recommendations are based on what is best for you. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. We love finding solutions that allow you to achieve your smile dreams.
